Best connectivity for your small to medium-sized business: With an integrated SFP port, this business VPN router takes advantage of the performance of modern fiber-optic lines. The greatest possible versatility with regard to the Internet lines available at the site is ensured via the Gigabit Ethernet WAN port. With award-winning LANCOM IPSec VPN and SD-WAN, 5 (optionally 25) sites and mobile employees are securely interconnected.
High-speed Internet via Gigabit Ethernet or fiber optics
The high-performance VPN router LANCOM 1800EF enables direct connection to a fiber-optic line (FTTH) via its SFP port using a separately available SFP module (GPON / AON). It also offers maximum versatility via Gigabit Ethernet for connection to external modems. It is therefore suitable for all fields of application and industries and forms the basis for reliable, high-performance networking.
Secure site networking via VPN
The LANCOM 1800EF offers a high level of security. Five integrated IPSec VPN channels guarantee maximum encryption, secure connection of mobile employees, and protection of internal company data. With the LANCOM VPN Option, the router can be upgraded to up to 25 VPN channels. Your network is thus optimally scalable and the infrastructure grows with it as required - without additional hardware components.
Radical simplification of the configuration with SD-WAN
In combination with the LANCOM Management Cloud and SD-WAN, secure VPN connections between sites, including network virtualization and backup, are set up automatically. The time-consuming manual configuration of individual tunnel endpoints is completely eliminated. High Scalability VPN (HSVPN) brings a significant increase in scalability and efficiency for many remote sites and applications. Furthermore, if multiple WAN connections are defined, they are automatically operated in active/active mode (load balancing), thereby increasing the available total bandwidth. With Dynamic Path Selection, applications are also dynamically routed via the best connection at any given time.
Advanced Routing & Forwarding
The LANCOM 1800EF provides up to 16 securely isolated and separately routed IP contexts. This is an elegant way of routing all IP applications via a central router and securely separating the various communication channels.
Security Made in Germany
Software and hardware development at LANCOM Systems as well as production take place mainly in Germany, as does the hosting of the network management. Particular attention is paid to trustworthiness and security. Stateful Inspection Firewall
Equipped with a stateful inspection firewall, the LANCOM 1800EF protects the entire network. With functions such as intrusion prevention and denial of service protection, the business VPN router ensures optimum protection so that all data in the network is safe.
