Intel Server Adapters Which SFP+ modules and cables can I use? What are the SFP+ optical module requirements for the Intel Ethernet Server Adapter X520 Series? Intel Ethernet SFP+ SR Optics and Intel Ethernet SFP+ LR Optics Other SFP+ modules are not allowed and cannot be used with these adapters. Can I add or change SFP+ optical modules? Yes, the following SFP+ modules can be purchased and used with the Intel Ethernet Server Adapter X520 Series. You may use any combination of the these optical modules and direct attach cables on dual port adapters.
