Featuring a dual-core Arm processor architecture with expanded memory capabilities, RS232/RS485/RS422 serial access, USB, Gigabit Ethernet and environmental sensor access, the Yochto project based Linux operating system and available DSView management software, provides the Avocent ACS 800 optimal performance, security, reliability for a complete out-of-band management solution.

- 4 USB ports to support new IT equipment and external devices
- Console event logging and notification, including last gasp capture
- Regulatory compliance and easy troubleshooting online and off-line data logging with time stamps
- Strong dial-up and secure dial-back using optional built-in modem
- Environmental sensor port to connect temperature, humidity, differential pressure, leak, door pin sensors (up to 8 can be daisy chained)
